The US Bureau of Labor Statistics expects the number of vocational nurses in the country to increase 6 percent from 2021 to 2031, about as fast as the average for all occupations.
You can also expect to be paid rather well for a 13-month program. The median annual wage in 2021 was $48,070. The average salary in California was $47,750 – $79,380 in 2021!

As an LVN or LPN, you will be working under registered nurses and doctors to provide nursing care in nursing homes, extended care facilities, hospitals, and offices. You will be supporting and caring for patients while performing any other duties in both the front and back offices.
