Student Services

The Student Services Department dedicates itself to providing every student with the necessary resources to excel in their academic and professional pursuits. Whether it’s guiding new students through the campus or offering interview coaching to recent graduates, our approachable staff is always ready to assist you. Please don’t hesitate to visit our office or call us for support. Our office hours are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

We know that starting a new school can be an overwhelming experience. Here at Angeles College, we strive to make that transition as comfortable as possible. Before the start of our programs, each student attends New Student Orientation where they will be introduced to their instructors as well as the staff from Student Services and the Financial Aid offices. They will receive an overview of their schedules, their courses, and become acquainted with the Angeles College Campus. By the end of the day, we hope AC feels as much like a home to each of them as it does to us!

Need advice or just need a bit more information? Whether a prospective student or already enrolled, our advisers are on hand to help with any issues that may arise. To meet with an advisor, students are welcome to make an appointment or stop by the office at their convenience. Our helpful advising staff is available during campus office hours, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Angeles College offers Student Tutorial Services (STS) for students requiring additional educational support throughout their academic program. These services are included as needed to prepare and assist students to successfully reach their goals and accomplish their professional objectives while attending Angeles College. All Angeles College Students may coordinate these services through their individual Instructor as needed or recommended by faculty.

Career Counseling and Placement Assistance are available to each student at Angeles College. As a frequent go-to for employers seeking qualified and skilled individuals, AC can offer our students the inside-track on job opportunities while assisting in the formatting and writing of resumes and interviewing skills. Whether just preparing yourself or looking to land that first job, we are here to help.

Through Career Counseling and Placement Assistance Services, our students have access to:

  • Individual and group counseling, exploration of career options, and information on occupational fields and employment trends
  • Information on a variety of educational and career options including non-credit programs, ESL classes, and vocational assistance
  • Seminars in resume writing, interviewing skills, teamwork, and other job-related topics
